Before you know it your honeymoon adventure at La Selva, the collective sensuousness of the place – the sights, the sounds, the textures, the smells, the spectacular foods and drinks – all of it will come together and you will be overwhelmed by the fulfilling experience!
What a better way to begin your new life together with your mate than in a perfect creation, deep in a tropical rainforest, a unique experience that will deepen your love for each other as you breathe in the harmony and pure life of the Amazon Jungle.

DAY 1:
We will pick you up at the airport upon your international arrival in Quito, Ecuador, where you will be taken to a luxury-class hotel to enjoy your first night in Ecuador.
DAY 2:
After a beautiful buffet breakfast at your hotel in Quito, we will pick you up and take you to the airport’s national terminal where you will be met by a La Selva Representative for your flight to the Amazon Jungle.
After a 25-minute flight, you will be met by a La Selva representative and begin a 2.5-hour motorized canoe ride down the Napo River to the lodge.
A suite will await you: spacious room, filled with some special complimentary surprises just for you providing you the first taste of your special treatment to come.
DAY 2-5:
At our friendly Amazon Jungle lodge, La Selva, you will partake of many of daily excursions offered to the regular special guests and you can participate as much as you like in adventure travel activities or learn about ecotourism as well as the extra-special treats outlined below just for honeymooners.
Another special excursion is the Amazon Gondolier where one of our indigenous staff takes you out before dusk in a dugout canoe or kayak and paddles the two of you slowly around the borders of our beautiful tranquil Garzacocha Lake. The guide will point out the animals and birds or if you find the solitude more romantic you'll barely hear the sound of his paddle in the water. The beverage of your choice goes along with you, courtesy of La Selva.
One night you'll have a candlelit dockside dinner over the lake with a private waiter and a table just for two. We'll light up the entire dock with a trail of candles that leads to your table. Complimentary cocktails and wine are included.
Another morning you'll have a dockside breakfast where you will have the chance to witness the start of a new day for wildlife in the Amazon and sense the subtle company of hoatzins, monkeys and more!
Also, you will have the opportunity to choose an afternoon or evening that you and your spouse may enjoy a massage in our spa.
On your last night we have a honeymoon tradition. You, the happy couple, now so full of the forest, launches a small balsa wood boat with two candles in it. The candles carry each one's wishes for your new marriage and the boat is the vessel for your hopes and dreams. Drinks are on the house as you watch your hopes sail toward a successful future.
DAY 6:
With regret, experience has shown, the honeymoon couple bid goodbye to La Selva, adventure travel and ecotourism and return to Quito where they will be escorted to your hotel.
Room service in Quito is on us! Enjoy a “siesta” and prepare for your evening tour.
An after-dark tour of Colonial Quito provides you fabulous ending experience that the New York Times lists as Number 15 of its 53 must visit destinations for 2008. The tour is followed by dinner at a gourmet restaurant in the heart of the colonial city and afterwards we will transfer you to your Quito hotel.
DAY 7:
The next day after a beautiful buffet breakfast at your hotel an escort will see you to the airport to catch your flight home and so ends The Honeymoon Tour.
