An Amazing Lodge

To set the stage for this review, we are Marriott Ambassador members and tough critics…

La Selva is top notch. Their staff call you by name, they have a chef on staff, the rooms are clean, incredibly comfortable, the property is beautiful and all your adventures start footsteps from your room. You do have to keep in mind this is an eco lodge in the middle of the Amazon.. so it doesn’t have A/C. But it does have ceiling fans and we were quite comfortable sleeping, eating, and really at all times. Their guides are more senior and incredibly knowledgeable (ours had ~20 years experience).

I would 100% recommend La Selva.

La selva is a beautiful lodge in a gorgeous setting. The food was excellent. Both the native guide and the naturalist were friendly and knowledgeable.
My massage in the spa was outstanding.
We saw many birds and my husband caught fish.
