PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION /
RESCHEDULING POLICIES
Individual Passengers
Payments:
A 20% deposit must be made to confirm any booking.
The total remaining balance must be fully credited in our account 61 days prior to the
departure date.
Cancellations or rescheduling:
121 days or more prior to the departure date – a 10% cancellation fee out of the total
amount of the lodge applies
120 to 61 days prior to the departure date – a 20% cancellation fee out of the total
amount of the lodge applies
60 days prior to the departure date– a full cancellation fee out of the total amount of the lodge applies
Groups (16 guests onwards)
Payments:
A 20% deposit must be made to confirm any group of 16 guests
30% must be made 181 days prior to the departure date
50% final deposit must be fully credited in our account 91 days prior to the departure
date
Cancellations or rescheduling:
181 days or more prior to the departure date – a 10% cancellation fee out of the total
amount of the lodge applies
180 to 151 days prior to the departure date – a 20% cancellation fee out of the total
amount of the lodge applies
150 to 91 days prior to the departure date – a 30% cancellation fee out of the total
amount of the lodge applies
90 days prior to the departure date – a full cancellation fee out of the total amount of the lodge applies
Remarks:
– La Selva Eco-Lodge & Retreat will proceed to confirm spaces once payment conditions are met.
– All payments must be made, credited, and cleared within the time-limits stated in La Selva Eco-Lodge & Retreat’ policies detailed above.
– All transactions must be made in US dollars, and transfer fees must be covered by
the client.
– A written confirmation is required and mandatory to confirm, reschedule or cancel
any booking. The client must request a written confirmation from us informing about
the notification received.
– La Selva Eco-Lodge & Retreat will inform the client if penalties will be applied following the policies implemented for such purposes.
– Our system manages availability automatically; therefore, spaces will be released if
payments are not made
– Priority is given with full payment on a first-paid first-served basis.
– The client is responsible for ensuring that the information stated on the invoice sent
by us is correct, and payment is made under the conditions established for such
purposes. If a discrepancy arises once full payment or a deposit has been received,
we are not liable for complaints or refunds.
– La Selva Eco-Lodge & Retreat will provide a digital voucher of services once full payment has
been accredited into its bank account.
– Bear in mind that 100% charges apply in case that the local flight tickets have been
already issued.
